Record Jungle has been a collector's shop for used and imported records in Kanazawa since 1983, run by Masatoshi Nakamura under an Ishikawa prefectural licence. It sells Japanese and imported pressings on vinyl and CD, and has opened a third floor stacked with bargain used LPs, CDs, 7-inch and 12-inch singles, VHS, books and LaserDiscs, open 11:30 to 19:00 as often as it can manage. It publishes its own rock and roll mail-order catalogue and a shop newsletter, Jungle Heartbeat, and lists on Discogs for buyers outside Japan.
