Acme Records opened its doors on October 6th, 2012 on S Kinnickinnic Ave with the goal of providing the best records at the best prices in a very inviting atmosphere, and the shop is well curated, impeccably organised and welcoming. There is a large selection of used and new records on LP and 45, a smaller used and new CD and cassette selection and an even smaller run of 78s. Buying is the other half of the business: the owner has been purchasing records professionally for over 25 years, they pay up to 50% of what they will sell an item for with a premium for store credit, and they will look at anything you bring in. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
