Alan Dobrin has run Alan's on East Finchley High Road since 1994, and it has been a fixture of the neighbourhood ever since. Second-hand vinyl, CDs, tapes and memorabilia, with stock over fifteen thousand records and three and a half thousand CDs that turns over constantly, plenty of it rare. The range runs punk, soul, reggae, jazz, African and techno and out the other side, the crates are properly catalogued, and there are listening stations so you can check before you commit
