Amazing Books & Records has been Pittsburgh's largest independent used bookstore since April 2013, buying, selling and trading used records and used books from 5858 Forbes Avenue in Squirrel Hill and 320 Smithfield Street downtown at the base of One Oxford Centre. The permanent deal is a free used book or record priced up to $10 with every three items you buy, and the free-to-join reward program gives 30% off after your tenth in-store purchase. There is a free cold beer waiting at the Squirrel Hill shop on Thursday evenings and Saturday nights, no purchase necessary. Repeatedly nominated for Best in Pittsburgh, featured in The New York Times in August 2019 and on KDKA.
