Andy's Records at 16 North Whitney Street in Grayslake, Illinois sells new and used vinyl and CDs, and is named after owner Nick Rush's father. Andy was an old hippy who once attended ten consecutive Jazz Fests in New Orleans, passed away in late 2021, and left behind a collection of blues and jazz 78s that became the nucleus of the shop; Nick's brother Alex drew the logo from an old photograph of him. The room is programmed as much as it is stocked, with a Vinyl Listening Club, First Fridays, an open mic, in-store performances and an annual Andy Fest.
