Atom Heart opened on Sherbrooke Est in 1999 and has spent more than twenty-five years selling electronic music and indie rock to Montreal and, through its mail order, to everywhere else. The Vinyl Factory put it in its world's-best-record-shops series at number seventeen, which is company most cities do not have at all. The stock runs wide inside those two poles - vinyl and CD, new and used - and the shop has outlasted most of the labels it was stocking when it opened.
