Audiopile is on Commercial Drive, the East Vancouver street that carries more record shops per block than anywhere else in the city, and it specialises in the hard-to-find - out-of-print pressings and an unusually deep run of Canadian music, which is the section most shops treat as an afterthought in the country that made it. Friendly rather than forbidding, which for a shop built on rarities is not a given.
