Backbeat on Wilson Street West is a locally owned shop split between used books and vinyl, new and second-hand, with the used records chosen from a private collection of over 20,000. Dan Chu looks after the music, Christine Chu the books, and Tenzin Chu is billed as the boss. Turntables come from Audio-Technica and Victrola, speakers from Edifier, backed by Spin-Clean washing systems, Mobile Fidelity accessories, carbon-fibre brushes and inner and outer sleeves. New records can be bought through the eShop for collection or shipping.
