Backflip Records is a physical record shop in Milan specialising in Black music, new and second-hand vinyl, made, owned and run by Phade aka Federica, a Mediterranean southerner, sound engineer and music selector for Pergola Tribe Sound System, a cornerstone of Milan's underground history. The collections are filed as blues and rhythm and blues, broken and future, acid jazz, electronic, funk, soul, disco, hip hop, rnb and nu soul, house, deep and soulful, jazz fusion, free and souljazz, latin and brasil, other world, reggae, rock and folk, with Italian pressings kept as their own section. Click and collect runs exclusively in store at via Salasco 17, open 4pm to 8pm Monday to Saturday through the summer.
