Bay Vinyl Records is in downtown Sturgeon Bay, Door County, and exists because in 2017 there were no official vinyl record stores in the area. Owners Alan Kassien and Steve Allen spent months on research and on readying the collections they already owned, acquiring thousands of top quality LPs and hundreds of 45s, and opened in March 2018. The store carries new and preowned vinyl, CDs and cassette tapes, over 10,000 records representing most genres, plus turntables and Audio Technica gear, and every incoming title is curated for quality and value. Customers come from many states and sometimes further afield.
