Beams Records is the music arm of Beams, the Japanese clothing retailer, on Jingumae in Harajuku. The buying is deliberately genre-less and aimed at records that stay worth owning rather than records that are current, and it sits alongside audio equipment, books, bags and accessories. Everything, CD and vinyl, can be listened to in the shop. It runs two labels of its own, Beams Records and Beams Exotica. No founding year is published, so none is claimed here
