Beltza has been on San Juan Kalea since May 1990, calling itself a 100% alternative music shop and keeping on the rhythm and blues style. The sections read as a map of everything sideways from the mainstream: soul, jazz and free jazz, R&B, reggae, ska and dub, 60s beat and garage, punk, oi and hardcore, power pop, new wave and synth pop, hip hop and trap, disco and euro disco, krautrock and prog rock, metal, latino, Brasil, flamenco, folk, country, soundtracks and world music, with books, fanzines, comics and posters alongside.
