Bending Sound opened on Record Store Day 2017 and is family-run. The detail that matters is what it opened into: Bangor had gone years without a music retailer of any kind, so this was not another shop joining a scene, it was somebody putting one back. New releases and pristine pre-owned vinyl, and it has taken part in Record Store Day every year since
