Bengt Brorsson opened Bengans in Gothenburg in 1974 and built its name on low prices and a steady stream of visiting international musicians. It is described as the largest and best stocked record shop in the Nordic countries, and since 2006 there has been a Stockholm shop as well, along with others around Sweden.
