Best Kept Records is a record shop on the Nieuwe Binnenweg in Rotterdam whose stated philosophy is the best of all genres, with a weakness for the outlandish, the beautiful, the raw-edged and the exotic. Vinyl runs from jazz to hardcore, and because the shop backs DJ culture the maxi singles cover italo disco, hardcore, techno, electro, jungle, breakbeat, funana, zouk and anything else you can mix. They are always hunting good batches of LPs and singles, valuing collections free of charge at a fair price, and the owner's own route in ran from teenage hardcore through house and electronica.
