Christian Swaton opened Best Music on 2 May 2017, finally fulfilling a dream he had carried since his apprenticeship. His own collecting started at 12 with a Bee Gees single paid for out of money earned delivering magazines, then swung progressive after an afternoon television screening of Amon Düül II, taking in Can, Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf and Captain Beefheart. The shop buys and sells vinyl, CDs, cassettes and more.
