Better On Vinyl buys and sells second-hand rare and collectible vinyl from the 1960s onwards, plus a selection of record players, amplifiers and speakers. Chris Edgcombe runs it out of a red brick Georgian fronted house on College Road in Framlingham, a tiny packed store with an industrial spiked interior and stock stacked high and wide. Browsing splits into rock, funk and soul, pop, electronic, jazz, classical, reggae, hip hop, folk, world and country and blues, plus 7-inch singles and shaped picture discs. One thing to know before you go: the records and hifi listed on the website are not kept at the shop, so flag anything you want brought over from the warehouse. Thursday to Saturday, 9 to 4, and ring ahead because he sometimes takes a break.
