Big Dipper started in Grünerløkka in 1999 and grew into a full music hub - vinyl across every genre with, by its own account, Norway's widest selection of new releases and reissues, plus hi-fi, music books and DVDs. It does more than sell: it has helped get long-out-of-print albums reissued through crowdfunding and puts on in-store concerts, which is a shop acting on its scene rather than just supplying it
