Black Market Skates started in 2010 and has been one of Seattle's most prominent core skateshops in the decade since, moving to a bigger space at 8114 Aurora Ave N in 2019 after outgrowing its original Denny Way location. Decks, trucks, wheels, bearings, protective gear and apparel are the day job, but the music section is real: records, used records, cassettes, CDs and zines and books to dig through.
