Border Line Records has been a record and CD store in Fukuoka since 1983, working to a simple slogan: the recycling of music culture. It sells and buys used CDs, records, DVDs and Blu-ray, and the Fukuoka shop floor regularly clears out a serious private hoard, most recently a soul record sale drawn straight from the collection of one of the city's best-known soul collectors. The shop also puts out analogue singles by local acts, including a second 7-inch from Hakata rock and roll band The Brisco. There is a sister branch in Kokura, which discounts your parking ticket at the till, and new arrivals are posted per shop.
