Brixton has been selling music, clothes and books in Bilbao for more than thirty years, and its racking tells you exactly where it stands: ska, rocksteady and early reggae, roots and dub, punk, Oi and hardcore, sixties beat, mod, garage and psychedelia, new wave, power pop and mod revival, soul, funk, R&B, jazz and Latin, fifties rock and roll, rockabilly, surf and psychobilly, plus Basque music. Brixton Records, the label founded in 1998, has released internationally known bands, and Guns of Brixton handles booking, so the shop, the label and the live side run out of the same building.
