C-STATION has been a used-CD specialist in northern Osaka since 1987, holding what it calls one of the biggest stocks in the Hokusetsu area: AOR, black contemporary, jazz, fusion, soundtracks and new music at the centre, all genres around them, and deep on deleted Japanese and western titles. Every used disc is shown to the customer surface-up before it is sold. Since 2005 its only online channel has been Amazon, now four accounts fed from the shop and the warehouse next door, with deleted and premium discs prioritised and condition graded conservatively. The shop's own line for it: more music, more fun, and an independent shop's job is to give something back to the local music fans who kept it going.
