Established in 2009 and sitting on the main street of Newtown in Sydney's inner west, Classic HiFi deals in refurbished vintage gear rather than records: amplifiers, phono stages, receivers, cassette decks, reel to reel players, tuners, speakers and turntables, restored in house by its own technicians. Every item carries a six-month warranty, layby and Afterpay are accepted, and turntable and vinyl parts and accessories are stocked. The current owners bought the business in 2019.
