Comets is an independent coffee shop and disquaire on rue Leon Frot in the Charonne quarter of Paris 11, founded in 2017. Their own summary of the operation is hard to improve on: we serve coffee, we sell records, we're trying our best. Vinyl and cassettes share the room with books, magazines and merch, the new-release wall leans on labels like Shelter Press, Mississippi Records, Superior Viaduct, Honest Jon's, Sublime Frequencies, Kranky, Constellation and Guruguru Brain, and there is a radio strand too. Orders ship out from the online shop.
