Crevette opened on Rue Blaes in the Marolles in September 2016, started by Pim Thomas, who records as Alfred Anders. It is a shop, a label and a distributor working out of the same room, which is why it functions as a base for the city's dance scene rather than only a counter to buy from. The selection covers house, techno, disco and Afro across new and second-hand, with something like 20,000 used records held in storage behind it, and the shop sells rotary mixers alongside the records. The label started in 2017 with a 12-inch by Vitesse
