Bruno Biedermann has run Dangerhouse from 3 rue Thimonnier in the 1st since 1989, which makes it one of the longest-standing record shops in Lyon and, for more than thirty years, the city's rock shop. The lean is towards garage, punk, rhythm and blues and soul rather than rock in general. Stock runs to twelve thousand-odd different titles across vinyl and CD, new and second-hand together, and the shop's reputation locally rests as much on the counter advice as on the racks.
