Data Records 93 - once Contempo Records - has been going in Florence since 1977, which makes it one of the oldest shops in Italy and the city's first stop for vinyl and rarities. Rock, new wave, punk, heavy metal, rock and roll, blues, soul, jazz, ska and reggae, with a proper section of Italian film soundtracks, and its own label reissuing those soundtracks and old new-wave records. A shop that has outlasted almost everything around it and started pressing history back into circulation itself
