Desert Island Records is in the old town of Nicosia, in the Faneromeni quarter inside the Venetian walls, and it is the island's independent record shop proper - dedicated full-time to vinyl rather than carrying a rack alongside something else. On an island this size that makes it the whole scene's counter.
