Not a shop but a pilgrimage. The German record museum occupies the historic Teldec boiler house, around 800 square metres of exhibition over three floors. More than 850 million records were pressed in Nortorf across roughly 40 years, and Direct Metal Mastering came out of the same plant. The collection now takes in the record archives given by NDR's Kiel and Hamburg studios, plus an exhibition from loudspeaker maker ELAC.
