Anthony Nyland opened Dig Vinyl in 2014 in the basement of a Bold Street vintage boutique, which is exactly the kind of address a record shop takes when the rents on the street above have already gone. New releases sit alongside second-hand LPs and seven-inches across every genre, and in January 2017 the shop became a label too - a small operation putting out Liverpool records rather than a shop with a logo on a sleeve.
