Diggers Club is a speakeasy record store on the second floor of Portland House, looking out over Cardiff Bay. It began appointment-only and now opens several days a week, with private digs still bookable by email. The selection is mostly imported: thousands of Japanese pressings, South American garage and surf, original Latin 45s, reggae classics, house, disco and jungle, hip hop, fusion and jazz-funk, classic rock and psych, anime soundtracks, Nigerian originals and Brazilian imports. Four Technics 1210 Mark 2 stations mean you are meant to build a stack and play it.
