Disco 100 opened in 1978 at number 100 of Carrer de l'Escorial in Barcelona, which is where the name comes from. The catalogue outgrew the building, so the shop moved along the same street to a number with a clearer reference for a record shop: 33. It calls itself the music library of Alexandria and means it, with more than 100,000 references in stock running from traditional music to electronic, laid out so you can get lost in the aisles.
