Discos Mono is on the same short stretch of Calle Jalapa as Retroactivo and Black Market, and it is the one that goes furthest out. Rare and eclectic is the buying policy, experimental and esoteric the result, and it deals directly with distributors most Mexican shops do not bother with - Forced Exposure, Secretly Canadian - so records that would otherwise mean an import order turn up in the racks. Affordable with it, which is rarer than the stock. No founding year is published anywhere we could verify
