Gerad Condemines had worked at the Barcelona shop La Ruta Natural and Arnau Farres was selling flea market finds on Discogs; both were already travelling Europe chasing rarities before they decided to put the effort into one place. Discos Paradiso opened in the Raval in April 2010 and became a focal point for the city's dance and experimental scene. The selection is tightest on electronic music - techno, house, ambient, experimental - with disco, funk, soul, hip-hop, indie, rock, folk and synth-pop around it.
