Distortion has been going more than twenty-five years, most of them on Ferdinand Bolstraat in De Pijp before moving up to Westerstraat. Amond Spee has been handing out music advice across the counter for all of it. New and used vinyl and collectors' items running from nineties house through dubstep and drum and bass to punk and indie, and you have to squeeze past and dig through boxes to get at any of it, which everybody who writes about the shop mentions and nobody complains about.
