Dixons opened its first shop in Blackburn in 1976 and is one of the longest-running second-hand music shops in Melbourne - the place people have taken their used LPs, CDs and DVDs to sell for nearly fifty years. It runs two rooms now, in Blackburn and here on High Street in Northcote, and the buying is deep and unfashionable in the best way: whatever came through the door, priced to move
