Down Street is a record shop in the VELDZE creative factory quarter in Riga, entrance from Bruninieku iela 25 round the back of the courtyard. New and used vinyl, CDs and audio cassettes are racked across a long list of crates - African, Brazilian, reggae and dub, world and latin, classical, disco, funk and soul, hip hop, indie, jazz and blues, rock, metal, soundtracks, electronic, house and techno - and they buy records in as well as selling turntables, cartridges, sleeves and accessories.
