Drake Records started in 2008 and moved in 2022 to Ritterstrasse in the centre of Cologne, having spent its early years on the right bank, up dä schäl sick. It is a vinyl street store for people who would rather dig, handle the sleeve, play the record and argue about it than order online, open Monday to Saturday. Around the shop sit a label, a mailorder, a record cleaning service, a record taxi, and Popular Music Tales, its own guided music tours of the city.
