Dreamhouse opened on Francis Road on 28 May 2021, started by the musician Jon Clifford, who had lived in Leyton six years by then, in a unit the Butterfly dry cleaners had just left. It works as a coffee shop and a record shop at once and turns into a bar on Thursday evenings, with the stated aim of being somewhere local musicians can actually gather. The coffee is Good Folk, roasted locally, the buns come from Sunday Bun Day, and the racks run folk, soul, jazz, electronic and punk
