Driver 8 Records at 246 Pine Street in Fort Collins is owned and run by Charles Hale, a lifelong music fan who has spent parts of the last 25 years on the radio and currently hosts the Ajax Diner Book Club on Sunday nights on KRFC. He grew up in Athens, Georgia, and while that shows in what is on the wall, the shop is stocked far wider than one owner's taste. It buys record collections and ships nationally, with flat rates up to six records and free postage from seven up.
