Dukyan Meloman has been on 6-ti Septemvri since 1994, which makes it the oldest record shop in Sofia, and its weight is in jazz, world, ethno and Bulgarian traditional music - close to ten thousand titles, new and second-hand. It is the Bulgarian distributor for ECM, ACT, Telarc, World Circuit and Stockfisch, stocks the audiophile pressings from Speakers Corner and Pure Pleasure, and will order from a catalogue running to something like a million titles. It also has a record lathe and will cut you a one-off, which is not a thing most shops can say.
