Dumb Records calls itself a record store and all-ages show space in downtown Springfield, and it runs a mall store on top of that. The site is as much a scene archive as a shop: there is a Springfield Album Archive, a booking page, and a roll-call of local bands current and past, from Attic Salt and Local Drags to Hospital Job, Looming and Yardwaste. Staff post a pick most weeks, lately an Outkast double LP, a reissue of Bubble Puppy's A Gathering of Promises, Ween's Quebec and The Gun Club's Miami. There is an arcade in there as well.
