EPKA. Studio Czarnej Plyty has existed since 1 July 2015, started out of a passion for music and records, at Gimnazjalna 6 in Bydgoszcz. It is mainly a walk-in vinyl shop, selling through its own webshop and the international auction sites as well. Used stock is sourced from all corners of the globe rather than one supplier, and nothing is on consignment: they buy records outright, so everything on the shelves is theirs. Every record is listened to and graded, with the grade on a label stuck to the sleeve, and they will wash records to order, thrown in free on anything bought there. Ortofon cartridges, styli, care accessories and Nagaoka and Mobile Fidelity sleeves are sold by the piece, and the regulars include collectors from Berlin, Ukraine and Canada.
