The record shop run by the Fire Talk label at 67 West St in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, open Mon and Wed to Sun, 11am to 6pm. The bins are cut by scene rather than by decade alone: 1980s, 1990s and 2000s indie, shoegaze, post punk and new wave, ambient, downtempo, club, electronic, experimental, Japanese psych, jazz, punk, rap and hip hop, outlaw country, post rock and a shelf just for Eno. Items online may not reflect what is actually in the racks, so they push you to shop in person, and the Fire Talk Record Club sends one new label release a month.
