SINCE 1984, A POINT OF REFERENCE FOR DJING AND VINYL. It was May ’84 when dj Lorenzo Guerra, former resident at Baccara club in ‘77-’80, decides to invest in his passion for music opening a record shop mainly focused on Disco music, a place dedicated to the listening and trading of music. Flexi Dischi was born, a small shop in Lugo (Ravenna), right in the middle of Romagna region; 40 square meters dedicated to the listening of newest dance records…on vinyl of course (CD techonology was just born). Five years later Flexi moved to a new location (the one in which you can still find it), with two large listening areas; the trademark of the store didn’t change though, being still focused on newest dance music together with a selection of records from the past. Lorenzo’s decision to invest in genres such as black music, afro, italo-disco, house and dance music made the store become the meeting point of both music lovers and local DJs. The shop thus became something more than a simple store; it was the place where DJs, listeners and friends met to share their passion, and it influenced many of their musical careers.
