Flipside Records started buying and selling records in 1980 and opened its shop in Clawson, Michigan in 1983 before moving to Coolidge Highway in Berkley. Vinyl LPs and 45s are the core, with CDs, cassettes, VHS, DVD and Blu-ray, LaserDiscs, comics, books, toys and collectables, electronics and vintage clothing filling the rest, and it buys records over the counter.
