FortyFive on Micklegate is a record shop, a cafe and a bar at once, and calls itself the only Nashville-style live music listening room in the country. It stocks hundreds of new and used records running from alternative rock to jazz, restocked regularly, and pitches itself as Yorkshire's home of country and rock and roll. There is a free-play jukebox, the coffee and grilled cheese are taken as seriously as the records, and it is dog friendly. No opening year is published, so none is claimed here
