Grand Ave Records opened its doors in 2016 at 1504 Grand Ave in downtown Phoenix, run by owner and operator Konstadinos 'Cocoe' Tsimahidis, who has over 30 years in the DJ and record community. The shop specialises in 7-inch and 12-inch vinyl, CDs, tapes, gifts and collectables, and Spin magazine voted it one of the 10 great record stores in America in 2021. It also puts out records - Jerusafunk's JFUNK came out on Grand Ave Records, and a cassette series kicked off with DJ Mantis Claw - and posts DJ mixes, live streams and recordings from its own parties. Arizona Highways featured the shop in its 2023 piece on historic Grand Avenue.
