Ground Zero and Nationale 7 share 114 rue du Faubourg Poissonnière in the 10th, Nationale 7 at street level and Ground Zero below it - the shop moved through Rue Oberkampf and Rue Sainte-Marthe before landing in the basement here. Between them they cover independent rock culture broadly: indie rock, folk, pop, garage, noise, punk and new wave, plus electro, hip-hop, soul, funk and disco, running from the 1960s to now. Stock is a mix of new independent releases, reissues and second-hand. Unusually for a record shop it is also a Pro-Ject hi-fi specialist, so turntables are sold alongside the racks, and there is a second branch in Montpellier.
