Daniel Kappla started the Gutfeeling label in 1993; Andreas Staebler opened the shop on Maistraße in 2003. It carries the whole Gutfeeling catalogue and a selection from around the world that reads like a manifesto - cumbia, sixties trash, punk, highlife, country, jazz, brass, early hardcore, tropicália, rock and roll and blues - plus, in the manner of the best small shops, an espresso machine and a reason to stay
